The Pumpkin Patch Experience
A more adventurous pumpkin experience, pick a pumpkin harvested and left on the ground for you to find and take home.
Cedar Circle Farm. East Thetford, VT. Picking a pumpkin here is so much fun because you can enjoy a pumpkin festival at the same time! Enjoy delicious food, relax to local bands, and let the kids partake in fun activities. Try the cookies and coffee in the cafe too. This annual festival is a favorite each year in October. Hours: Oct. 9-6
Riverview. Plainfield, NH. We explored the corn maze and ended at the pumpkin patch. You can pick a pumpkin there, or outside the store. Make sure to the try a maple creamee while you’re there. Riverview also offers wagon rides, pyo fruits, and plenty of goodies to take home. Hours: Open 7 days, Aug.-Oct. 10-5
Piermont Plant Pantry. Piermont, NH. Make a day of it. Pet the animals, enjoy the gift shop, tour their 100 acres of land and 15 greenhouses, and of course pick a pumpkin from their beautiful selection.
Pretty and Prepicked
Stacked or lined up, ready for you to carry (or wheel away) home.
Patch Orchards. Lebanon, NH. Pick your own pumpkin and then enjoy the view. Make sure to try their maple syrup, truly delicious. Explore their corn maze too. Hours: Open 7 days 9-5 in October.
Wellwood. Springfield, VT. Picking a pumpkin is only part of the fall experience here. Pick from gourds, baby and massive pumpkins they have. Pet the animals, grab some baked goods to take home, savor their amazing donuts, or pyo fruit. This is the place to go for local fall produce. Hours: 7 days, 9-5
Windy Ridge Orchard. North Haverhill, New Hampshire. Trails, cow train for kids, a cafe, petting zoo, goodies, and pumpkins! This is a one stop pumpkin picking fall experience for the family. Hours: 10-3
Mt. Pleasant Orchard. Grafton, NH.
