It’s worth the drive for some fun away from the elements.
Maple Lanes on Maple Ave. is one of the few bowling alleys in the area and people love how reasonable it is. Have some old fashioned fun and see how many strikes you can get. There’s also an arcade on site.
Hours: Mon. closed, Tues.-Wed. 12- 9 pm, Thurs. 3:30 – 9, Fri. 3:30 – 10, Sat. 10-10:30, Sun. 9-8:30.
Cost: $3.50 per game per person on Wed. until 5 pm plus $2 for shoes, $4.25 per game per person and $2 per person shoe rental every other day, or $21 per lane per hr. with a max of 4 people.
Try the bounce house and arcade center at the Family Fun Zone on Pleasant St. Open for kids and adults. This picture is from the kid bounce house in Hanover; the ones at the Fun Zone are a lot bigger with wider openings :0)
There are 5 bounce houses and an arcade. Bring socks to use the bounce houses.

Try the Escape Factory in Claremont. Solve the live action puzzle in a room: an abandoned cabin in the woods, abandoned subway, or ghost lab. These are just some of the themed escape rooms that require team work to figure out the clues and solve the problem. Must have an adult present if under 18. I like the story lines – very interesting.
