Day Trips: Get all the Fun in One Day
Try one of my day trip ideas and pack a lot of fun into one day. I tend to them over an over.
Here’s a list that’s all in one spot and easier to read list if you need.
Bring a Friend: Fun Together
Schedule an outing with a friend so you can make memories together. Then you don’t have to make a separate trip to each other’s houses to hang out.
Priortize Your Fun
There’s never enough time for it all. What’s the most important on your list you want to do? What would be nice to do but could wait until next summer or it’s okay if you miss it this summer? This might help ease the burden on your pocket book and help overscheduling at the same time. Sometimes I overplan and then don’t leave downtime to just get housework done or play around the house. Leaving some open space with no plans and prioritizing plans will help so that if someone wants to spend time you’re not like me last summer me saying I can get together next month, leaves more space for flexibility, reduces stress, and makes sure you’ll feel happy with what you do get accomplished because you’re not trying to do it all (as I found out the hard way).
