Mascoma Lake Campground in Lebanon nh A favorite among RVers. There are cabins and tent spaces you can rent too! Great views of the lake, boat rentals, swimming, and ice cream right across the street. The facility has a playground and sports courts. People commented on the friendly and helpful owners, and welcoming campers. Pet-friendly.
Boston Lot Lake is a hidden gem in Lebanon and a local favorite. If you love to hike, this is the place to be. Boston Lot Lake has a massive trail network lovingly maintained by the local mountain biking association. There are a few camping platforms to rent. You can read about the hiking trails here.
Rest N Nest in Thetford is known for its large campsites with a quiet and wooded atmosphere. There’s a pond, playground, and pool with a waterslide.
Quechee Gorge State Park is a nice balance of camping and amenities. Use it as your home base for you to go out and do other things (most within walking distance): swim in the gorge, hike the local trails, play mini golf, shop and more.
Henderson’s Hideaway in Sharon, Vt. Self-proclaimed ‘rustic camping,’ Henderson’s Hideaway is on the White River.

Silver Lake State Park in Barnard, VT is highly recommended for camping. Rent a boat, play on the playground, bask on the beach. A great place to fish as well.
Storrs Pond in Hanover has a lot of amenities. This well loved facility provides swimming, splash pad, boat rental, fishing, disc golf, corn hole, a swing set, tennis, hiking, covered picnic area, and snack bar.
Lake Champagne Campground in Randolph Center Vt. A favorite among RVers, this campground has 123 campsites. From your site you can view meadows, the lake, and other scenic views. Whether you want a secluded tent site away from it all, a wooded RV site, or a terraced or open site, this campground has just what you need (see map). A relaxing campground in a beautiful setting.
Loch Lyme Lodge on Post Pond in Lyme. Such a beautiful place with lots to do. This is a get-away-from it-all-experience cabin camping. People have been coming here for generations. A great mix of fun and activities with a quiet and relaxing environment. There’s a dining hall on site and mini cafe. Game room, sports courts, trails, live music on select evenings, boat rental and swimming, and great cabins! An excellent place to take the family!
The Pastures in Orford is a campground right on the Connecticut River. Fishers, swimmers, and boaters rejoice! This is a great campground for water lovers. There’s a pool too. This is a great place to tent or have an RV. Kids will love the foos ball, soccer field, volleyball court, and sandbox. Photos show lots of fun like race cars down ramps, slides, and kids playing on a playground. There’s also horse shoe pits. Sites are shaded or partially shaded.
River Meadow Campground, Haverhill, NH. Right on the CT River. Has a pool and hot tub. You can rent a cabin or camp your RV. There’s a playground, two ponds with fountains, and sports areas.
Great River Outfitters in Windsor, VT offers a unique camping experience: full service camping experience! Camp in their deluxe tents or bring your own in the Path of Life Garden and they’ll provide all the supplies you need. You can even do a float trip down the river the next day too. Artisan Eats does grab-and-go and small group and family take out service too to make meals easy during your stay. You can also float down the river and camp on one of the islands along the Connecticut River. It’s a great base camp place with opportunities to bike, hike, and shop right within walking distance. Plus Windsor itself has many fun things to do. It makes a great stay-cation or New England destination vacation.
