Mass production is a wonderful thing, but sometimes I want a diamond in the rough or that needle in the haystack. I want that one unique item amidst lots of the same.
A product that matches my own uniqueness.
What’s great is that there are local stores to help you with this.
Uncommon Home
People rave about this store! This is a must stop and wander in White River. Beautifully curated items in the store. People say you’ll want everything there!
Cosign and Design
At Consign and Design you explore vintage finds and products by local artisans. I love the upcycled furniture from NH Rustic Designs and the metal art by Eagle Eye Products.
On the main floor I love the kitchenware. Beautiful ceramic mugs and bowls. I could see myself buying one or a set to add sunshine to my breakfast each morning by looking at something pretty.
Little Istanbul
I love this store! Amazing one of a kind finds handpicked and shipped straight from Istanbul! Find your own piece of color heaven here. See more pictures here.
Second Hand Goodness.
Cover Store, VT Salvage Exchange, and Listen.
These stores all have great finds and reasonable prices. Find that unique chair, coffee table, lamp or decorative item. The Cover Store proceeds go to Cover helping people fix their homes. Listen sells furniture and its proceeds go to many programs that help local families and those in need. VT Salvage is just a really cool place to go for unique finds. A pedestal sink? Glass door knobs? A staircase? If you’re renovating – try there.
