Green Mountain Roots Band
Green Mountain Roots Band plays original funky rock infused with a little reggae. You can check out their music here. They’ll be playing at the Windsor station and Engine Room in April 2018.
Funkwagon
Funkwagon is based in Burlington but plays at the Windsor Station. They have fun, upbeat music to dance to.
Rumblecat
Rumblecat is another fun band that plays at the Windsor Station. They play originals and covers with a twist. I like the Harmonica in the mix. “In any given set song, you’ll hear shuffles, sambas, vocal harmonies, rapping, slide guitar, slap bass, organ, piano, synthesizer, and harmonica rifts.” This sounds like a fun filled variety show. Here’s a sampling and I hope they come back to the Upper Valley soon.
Sirsy
Sirsy isn’t local but plays local in Claremont at the Taverne on the Square. They’re an impressive two person band. I love the sound and flavor of their music. They have impressive credentials, so if you get the chance to go see them, you should. Here’s a sampling.
Party Crashers
Party Crashers plays a variety of music. They get people up and moving and their lead vocalist has an amazing voice.
Mo’Combo
Mo’Combo is a band that’s been around a while that plays a variety of music. You can hear their smooth sound here.
Binger
Binger prides itself on not being ascribed to any particular genre, but fall in the realm of progressive rock psych hip hop. They’re based on out Burlington but play at the Windsor Station when they’re local. You can hear a sampling of their music here. I feel like I’m listening to music from the 60s and 70s when I hear them.
