4 -7 pm. “Celebrate The Season” in Hanover. Chili cook-off on Allen Street 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Free samples and vote the winner. Tree lighting from 5-5:30. Santa will be at Mascoma Bank and Harry Potter at the Ledyard Bank.

9 am – 4 pm. The Family Place’s 20th Annual Gingerbread Festival in Norwich. The gingerbread festival is returning to Tracy Hall in Norwich. There will be over 100 gingerbread houses and a silent auction. Handcrafts, gifts, and food for purchase. Cookie decorating and activities for children too. $10 per family $5 per individual.
10:30 am – 11:30 am. L’dor V’dor Upper Valley Tots Shabbat in West Lebanon. Enjoy Jewish stories, music, singing, activities and more at the Kilton Library.
12-3:50. Santa’s Tour of Lebanon and West Lebanon. Check out the map in real time and see Santa. Link
2:30 – 5 pm. Merry & Bright celebration in Hartford Village. Enjoy raffles, ugly sweater contest, crafts, baked goods and more. You can even get your picture with Santa.
3 – 5 pm. Tis the Season at Lebanon Green. Holiday family fun for all! Check out jugglers, stilt walkers, carolers from elementary schools, Upper Valley Music center caroling (student performances 11 to 4:30), horse drawn carriage rides, pictures with Frozen characters and Santa, pop up market, AVA Gallery exhibit (11 am to 4 pm), Cirque de Light performances and more.

12-2:30 pm. Holiday Cookie Decorating at the Coop in Lebanon. Look cookie decorating techniques in this hands-on class. $30-60.
1 – 4 pm. Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop in Enfield. Create a gingerbread house and you can even display it for a contest at the museum. All materials will be provided. Holiday snacks provided too. $55-60.
2 – 5 pm. Holiday Orford Open House. Enjoy activities and refreshments at the Orford holiday open house.
3:30 pm. Area Choir Christmas Concerts in Newport at the South Congregational Church. Come celebrate at annual tradition in its 69th year. This choir is made up people from surrounding area. The concert will consist of holiday favorites a time for the audience to join in as well. Masks are required for the audience. The choir will be tested and vaccinated and sing unmasked. Winterfest at the Junction Weekend Celebration. Fa La La Holiday Revue on Sat. Dec 10 from 7-9 pm at the Briggs Opera House. There will be a one stop Holiday Shoppe and Artisan Fair on Sun. Dec. 11 10 am – 4 pm in the Coolidge Hotel Ballroom. Proceeds benefit the Visiting Nurse and Hospice of VT and NH. There will be a collection for the Haven too.
10 am-5 pm. Wassail Weekend in Woodstock at Billings Farm. Enjoy Wassail punch, cider donuts and more. Price $8-17. 3 and under free.
11-2 pm. Gingerbread House Class. Coop Lebanon. This is a hands on family fun class. $30-40.
1 – 3 pm. Hanover Snow Much Fun Fair. Games, wagon rides, food, s’mores, petting zoo, music and more. It was a lot of fun last year.
4 – 7 pm. “One Starry Night” in West Lebanon. A drop in event for all. There will be live holiday music with cookies, cocoa, family photos and a live nativity scene. Kids will have fun with the crafts and activities to experience the village of Bethlehem. This will be at the Wellspring Worship church.
4 -7 pm. Christmas in Canaan. See a gingerbread house contest, enjoy a chili cook-off, take a horse and wagon ride, participate in a coloring contest and visit with Santa. There will be crafts and activities for kids at downtown businesses.

10 am-5 pm. Wassail Weekend in Woodstock at Billings Farm. Enjoy Wassail punch, cider donuts and more. Price $8-17. 3 and under free. Also throughout Dec. experience a Victorian-era Chirstmas with lights and décor. Participate in crafts, candle dipping and farm recipes.

7 pm. Star of Wonder: A Christmas Celebration. See a Christmas themed concert by sister duo Kirsten and Alyssa Becker at 7 pm at the Charlestown Bible Church. They’ll be performing a variety of holiday favorites, including “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” & “Carol of the Bells,” and other traditional carols. Admission is by donation.
