Mac’s Maple in Plainfield. A local favorite with families. See the animals, try a maple creamee, and shop at their store on site. You can also see their products online.
Raymond Sugarhouse in North Hartland. The best part is you can shop online for maple candy, butter, cream, and syrup! Yum.
Cabot Store in Quechee has different brands to choose from. I love shopping for local specialty food goods here.
Backcountry Maple in Haverhill. They’re a leader for maple products and production in Haverhill.
Prosper Valley Maples in Woodstock. Check out their Facebook page for updates on their sugaring.
100 Mile Market in Claremont. This store sells products from within 100 miles of Claremont. Some of the goods they make themselves too.
Polly’s Pancake Parlor and the Sugar Hill Inn in Sugar Hill. A bit of a trek from Lebanon (1 hour 17 min.) but people say it’s worth the trip. I’ve stayed at the Sugar Hill Inn and loved the cozy ambiance. A pancake parlor nearby would just be an added bonus. Of course now I’d just wander up for some maple butter…
Or you can make your own with butter, syrup, and a mixer by following a recipe like this, but I’d much rather buy some from the experts.
