There are so many amazing places to go walking in the area and I haven’t explored many of them yet, but I have found some wonderful ones that are less traveled. These would be great to explore during this time of social distancing.
Chamber Memorial Preserve

A quiet neighborhood parcel of woods that looks out onto the river. Enjoy meandering through secluded beauty. More Info.
Signal Hill

It took me at least two times getting lost to finally find this, so I think it’s definitely a less traveled trail. Tucked on the side of a residential road, this is a brief climb with a stellar view. More Info.
Starr Hill

Another neighborhood conservation area. Wide trails with lots of signage and different options to explore. Really relaxing and right in town. More Info.
Two Rivers Conservation Area

Seclusion right in downtown. Walk through meadow, mashland, woods, and see the river. A short but lovely little walk. More Info.
Brookside Park

A loop trail with lots of geographical features for you to check out along the way like a massive rock, and another that looks like an alligator. I love the rocky brook that glides along the edge of the trail. More Info.
