Getting There and Parking
Head straight on Park St. At the light at the intersection of Route 10 (College St.) and Route 120 (Park St.) continue straight. There will be a large brick building on your left and a parking lot on your right at the bottom of a little hill.
Turn right into the parking lot. G Lot will be on your left and Dewey lot will be on your right (it’s labeled on the pavement and the bigger of the two lots).
Call the Dartmouth transportation department at 603-646-2204 and leave a message with your license plate number, make, model and color of car and where you will be visiting.
Walk up the hill to the main building. You’ll walk up a set of stairs on your right and see this sign and entry way.

Finding the Green House
There will be an elevator on your right. This goes to a private entrance for Dartmouth students. Instead continue down the hall and to the left. There will be an elevator on your left. Take it to the 4th floor.
Turn right and you’ll see the green house entrance.
In the Green House
Enjoy a cozy seating area when you enter.
This main room has lots of flowers too.
On the right there’s another door for you to enter the main green house area.
So Much to See!
The green house has multiple climate controled green house rooms on either side of a plant lined hallway: tropical, subtropical, cold and warm orchid rooms, and desert. I was surprised at how big it was. I thought it was just the two main rooms and I kept finding more places to explore.
They are labeled on the door and welcome you to enter them.
A Garden Full of Variety
Flowers and plants from all over the world can be seen: China, Fiji, South Africa, and more.

Smell the plants, touch the leaves. Be gentle and enjoy.
Fun for kids too. My son loved looking and smelling the flowers.
I hope you enjoy some sunshine in your day by looking at these gorgeous flowers! I can’t imagine how much work it is to maintain all of these different varieties with various needs.
