Winner For Overall Outdoor Dining Experience
Lui Lui’s at the Powerhouse Mall Plaza has a lovely outdoor dining area that is shaded and looks out onto a nice private grassy area. If you sit on the right you may even get a nice view of the river. Bonus! They even have a bocce ball court on the grass so challenge your friend or family member to a game. It’s also a cozy spot for just a few people to dine, ranking number three in this category.
2nd Place for Overall Outdoor Dining Experience
Three Tomatoes on the green in Lebanon was a favorite for overall dining and came in first for a cozy spot for just a few people to dine outdoors. They blend casual and sophistication well: potted plants, large shaded awning so everyone is cool, regular tables and chairs (not plastic), and tablecloths. I like how the spot is convenient and in the heart of Lebanon. Enjoy easy parking in the public parking lot behind the building.
3rd Place for Overall Dining Experience
Salt Hill has a great outdoor dining area sectioned off along the pedestrian mall in Lebanon. It’s great for just a few people to dine outdoors and came in 2nd in this category. I’d drink a rootbeer float and enjoy a sandwich here any day while soaking up the sun.
4th Place for Overall Dining Experience
The Baited Hook on Route 4A in Lebanon is a wonderful place to eat outdoors whether it’s just you and a friend, a group, or your family. It ranked number 4 for cozy outdoor dining spots too. You can dine at one of their picnic tables or in their screened-in porch, both look out over beautiful Mascoma Lake. They even have an ice cream window. I would find this place so relaxing to eat outside at. NOT SURE IF OPENING THIS YEAR – LET’S HOPE IT COMES BACK!
Winner for Outdoor Dining for Families
Again, a popular place for outdoor dining, this time for families. With a bocce court, grass to run around in if your kid gets restless, dinner deals, and a kid friendly menu, I can see why families love Lui Lui’s.
2nd Place Outdoor Dining that’s Best for Families
With a casual atmosphere, ice cream, and options of screened in porch or picnic table, I can see why the Baited Hook is a favorite among families. I so hope this comes back for the season!
3rd Place Outdoor Dining that’s Best for Families
A great location, plenty for your kiddos to look at as people go by, and of course the shade! Three Tomatoes is a great spot for an outdoor family meal. With the pandemic there’s going to be increased outdoor seating.

Enjoy yummy sandwiches, homemade chips, and a rootbeer float outdoors at one of Salt Hill’s outdoor tables. There will be more outdoor seating this summer.
