Windsor, VT. Cider Hill Gardens is a visual treat for gardeners and floral enthusiastics. People come by bus loads to see their impressive plant varieties. A truly must-see for the gardener.
Highlights: Whimsy sculptures, an art gallery, and relaxing gardens.
Hours: 10 am – 5 pm seasonal (2020 weekends by appt. only)
Cost: Free
Windsor, VT. Path of Life Gardens is a fun place to visit with large sculptures in an open space of green.
Highlights: More whimsical sculptures, hemlock maze, and stone labrynith.
Hours: 10 am – 6 pm seasonal hours – open yearround
Cost: $6 adults, $3 for ages 4+
Cornish, NH. St. Gauden’s is a National Historic Park and has impressive sculptures honoring historical events and people by Augustus St. Gaudens. There are also elaborate and extensive gardens to admire.
Highlights: Lots of history to learn, mansion to tour, trails, ornate gardens, and sculptor in residence
Hours: 9 am – 4:30 pm
Cost: $10
Cornish, NH. Beautiful gardens and a place to sit and have tea. Bring some home too. The Song Garden is a pick your own garden with a tea house.
Highlights: lovely varieties of flowers, vintage and homemade goods, places to sit and admire
Hours: By appt. only.
Cost: free to admire, cost for pyo bouquets by size
