Elizabeth’s Park is located in Bradford, VT and totally worth the little drive! It is open from dawn to dusk and the park building (where bathrooms are located) is open from 8 am – 8 pm.
I’ve never seen a park with so many cool features.
When I first saw it, I was blown away. I’d never seen a play structure so massive. It is well made and tailored for little kids with doorways at a kid’s height. Wander over bridges, climb down stairs, go through tunnels. It has a lot of variety.
I liked that there were benches to sit at and even a theatre style seating area. Puppet show, story time, sing-a-long, party, group gathering – there’s a spot for that. I can imagine kids sitting here while a child opens up gifts, or a magician amazes them all. I can also picture a group of moms sitting and talking while their kids have a ball.
This park has a lovely shaded area for you to grill and picnic. So make sure to bring a cooler, a trash bag, fire starting equipment, and some lunch. I see grilled chicken, pasta salad, and fruit and yogurt. What do you imagine?
This is a carry in carry out park.
The bathroom isn’t labeled bathroom. It may look closed, but try the door. (We didn’t and found out later there actually is a bathroom on site).
The play structure is all in the sun.
Bring your family. Bring your friends. Make some memories.
