Nature Meets Laid Back Golf
Grab your friends or colleagues and try this unique type of golf.
What is it?
4 x 4 Mountain Golf is a truly unique experience. Golf through meadows and orchards as you travel logging roads from tee to tee on this 18 hole, par 3 course.
Not only is the layout unique, but the rules. You don’t put in 4 x 4 mountain golf. Once you get to the ‘green,’ which is a small circular area around the pin, you have to chip it once to get as close to the pin as you can. Then take your last stroke.

Getting Around
Recommended vehicles are trucks atvs, and jeeps due to the steep and challenging logging road terrain.
You can also walk the course if you like to hike as some of the logging roads have steep inclines and uneven ground. Distances between tees are several hundred yards (think quarter of a mile), so keep this in mind if you choose to walk the course.
Best For Groups
4 x 4 Mountain Golf is run by two locals who maintain the course on their free time so this is best an activity for groups.
Fundraisers
Bachelorette and bachelor parties
Team-building activities
Fun golf tournaments
Bring the guys, some drinks, and some snacks and practice your long drives.
Bring your colleagues and have a fun team building activity admiring the local natural beauty.
Make it a tournament or fundraiser event challenging yourself with just one club for the round.
Why You Should Try It

I like to think of this as party golf. It’s a relaxed atmosphere golfing for groups.
Want to stop for a snack? Go ahead. The 10th tee is a great place for this.
Want to bring a beverage? That’s okay too. (It is carry in/carry out course).
Want to wear jeans or shorts or a t-shirt? Go for it. No dress code here.
Want a challenge and try one club for the round? Have fun!
Rent the course the day and take as long as you like.
This is a fun Upper Valley twist on a traditional well-loved game. Grab your clubs and your adventurous side and give it a go.
An adventure, a challenge, and a fun experience await you.
You got this.
